Service Desk Analyst required to work in Milton Keynes.
Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract and this may go to a permanent position.
Job purpose;
* Logging all relevant Incidents and Service Request details, assigning categories and priorities as appropriate.
* Providing first line investigation and diagnosis.
* Maintain up to date list of customers on the IT Service Desk call logging application.
* Communication with users – keeping them informed of impending changes and any outages.
* Other tasks may include the maintenance of inventories of equipment, software together with users’ details.
Skills required:
* Experienced in IT Service Desk operations and incident management processes using the IT Service Management System Service Now
* Demonstrable IT Service Desk and/or Customer Service Call Centre experience required
* Strong working knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft 365, basic User & Security Group Active Directory administration
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written with an excellent telephone manner
* A strong customer service and work ethic
* Takes initiative to keep up skills and maintain awareness of current IT Service Desk processes and procedures.
