Indpendent Financial Adviser

Our clients are looking for a qualified IFA to join their Birmingham office – although for the right candidate they could consider the role being based out of their Leicester office too).

You will:

* Be at least Diploma Qualified with the ambition to work towards Chartered if not already.

* Have some years experience of adivsing and CAS status

* Pay attention to detail and the ability to explain complex information clearly and simply

* Have good knowledge of compliance, TCF, Data Protection Act and Anti-Money Laundering requirements

* Have excellent communication skills and the ability to ask appropriate questions of clients

* Have good analysis skills, money management skills and planning skills

* Be enthusiastic and willing to assist clients and colleagues alike

* The ability to manage own workload.

* Be flexible and able to adapt to cope with change

* Have full driving licence and be willing to travel to visit clients

Responsibilities include:

* Providing strategic advice across a variety of financial products and services (Pensions, Investments & Savings, Protection)

* Assessing client’s financial circumstances, understand their needs and develop a comprehensive financial plan

* Making recommendations to clients that meet their goals and ambitions

* Cultivating the client base and build relationships

* Keeping abreast of new industry developments and research the market to ensure that knowledge is current

* Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation and comply with all industry rules and regulations
