Assistant Financial Controller

Active Electronics Plc is looking for an Assistant Financial Controller. The role will entail assisting in all aspects of the business’s accountancy functions.

We are looking for an energetic individual who will add real value to our business. The role will touch on all accounting functions required by the business and as such provides a good opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience.

Tasks include, but will not be limited to assisting with:

* Preparation of monthly accounts

* Preparation of financial schedules

* Control of cash and bank accounts

* Monthly closing of ledgers

* Control of overhead expenditure.

This is a role that will be varied and fulfilling. The successful candidate has scope to develop their career as the business is in an expansion phase.

Experience required for the Assistant Financial Controller:

* Working in an accounts function – essential

* Good knowledge of MS Excel

* Good knowledge of an integrated accounting system

* An AAT or other accounting qualification preferred, but not essential.
