Our client is seeking a Customer Service Advisor, this is a temporary to permanent role working Monday to Friday on a 3-week shift rotation:
Week 1 – 08:00am – 4:00pm
Week 2 – 09:00am – 5:00pm
Week 3 – 10:00am – 6:00pm
You'll be working as part of a team to deliver a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers. Also ensuring all orders are processed and dealing with any complaints or account queries. Whilst developing an excellent working relationship with the customers in order to be considered as a trusted point of contact.
Working for this manufacturer within their site offices your duties will include:
Progressing daily customer orders from input through to despatch.
Producing and supplying all relevant paperwork for despatch on a daily basis and booking all transport as required.
Creating opportunities to deliver additional sales, new lines, extra volume where appropriate.
Resolving delivery issues both short and long term through communication with customer, haulier and transport team.
Proactively identifying areas where customer behaviour can be influenced to deliver efficient order fulfilment in a customer focussed environment.
Proactively communication with customers and sales team to ensure campaign targets are met by influencing the placement of promotional orders in line with business expectations.
Ensure all paperwork is filed correctly to enable fast retrieval when required.
Reception duties – Switchboard.
Providing support for other areas of the operations team and wider business when required.
To be considered for this role you will:
Ideally have a minimum of 2 year’s experience in a customer service role
Possess excellent communication skills and telephone manner
Have a genuine desire to help
Be computer literate with a good working knowledge of Word & Excel
Be a team player.
This role will be working in the office (no work from home is offered for this position). Free car parking, kitchen area with microwave, fridge, kettle, tea/coffee machine in office, staff shop, use of vending machines, Annual leave is 28 days pre 12 weeks and 33 days post 12 weeks (when permanent)
