Our client who is a UK leading facilities management and professional services company, is seeking a Full Time Receptionist for a Head Office based in Milton Keynes, on a temp to perm basis.
Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Half an hour lunch break
37.5 Hours per week
You will be a part of a small corporate team of Receptionists and you shall be the first person a visitor meets or speaks to on the telephone, therefore your primary role will be to make that all important excellent first impression by demonstrating a high level of customer care and professionalism. You will be responsible for creating a positive experience for each visitor as an ambassador for the company.
Meet and greet all visitors to the building
Signing in visitors in accordance with standard procedures
Assist visitors and clients with queries in a knowledgeable and professional manner
Proactively offer additional assistance as and when required
Maintain excellent customer care and front of house standards at all times
Manage complaints in a calm and professional manner and escalate when necessary
Develop and maintain excellent relationship with visitors and staff in the building
Organise and maintain the reception areas, and report any cleaning issues to the Front of House Team Leader.
Liaise with all internal departments and site services providers when required
Answer the telephone in a warm, confident and friendly manner in line with standard procedures. Answer, screen and forward calls accordingly
Regularly check, read and action emails regularly on a timely basis
Carry out administrative tasks and duties as and when required
Adhere to the site’s safety and security procedures and regulations as set out by management
Report any maintenance issues in the reception and common areas to the Front of House Team Leader
Diary management, fulfilling meeting rooms bookings on behalf of the occupiers and Facilities Management
Provide each internal and external visitor/client with a 5* service

Ability to multitask and deal with your clients and visitors in a professional manner at all times
Able to adjust quickly to new procedures and situations
Excellent customer service skills.
Understanding of corporate working environment (Essential)
Working Knowledge Microsoft skills in Word, Excel and Outlook, IT literate (essential)
