SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced Teaching or Learning Support Assistant looking to work in a Supportive Secondary Academy on a one to one basis with a student with mild Autism?

Tradewind is working with an inclusive Academy in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire who are looking to recruit an SEN TA to start immediately for the whole academic year!

** Special Educational Need Teaching Assistant

** Long term role starting ASAP – £70-£80 per day

** Supporting several different Key Stage 3/4 pupils all who are on the Autistic Spectrum on a one to one basis

** Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants with the ability to engage and support encouraged to apply

Located in Hemel Hempstead this well-run Secondary Academy has a reputation for developing pupils across Key stage 3 to ensure they're set up to achieve their best at Key Stage 4. You'll be working within a cohesive SEN department who ensure they make excellent progress daily. This Good academy is looking to appoint 3 SEN TA's who to work on a one to one basis with students as they prepare for their GCSE's. All three students are verbal, well behaved and respectful of staff and pupils but need concepts to be broken down using methods that have been developed over their time at the school to help them learn.

The Teaching Assistant must:

*Ideally hold a degree (in any subject) or other relevant qualifications e.g. childcare
*Have recent experience working as a TA/LSA
*Have energy, commitment and creativity
*Be able to engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
*Have a positive attitude
*Be available and willing to commit for the rest of the 2021/22 academic year
