Our client, based in Buckinghamshire has recently gone through a period of growth and are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner on an interim basis for a minimum of 3 months.
The role will offer some hybrid working however the nature of the post will be client facing.
The successful candidate will have strong experience ideally within the Social Housing sector, will be a fully qualified accountant (or equivalent).
Duties will include (but not limited to):
* Completing the monthly management accounts, as well as all relevant financial reporting; quarterly finance reports, budgets, cash flow and forecasts
* Meeting with budget holders, both finance and non-finance, producing packs and explaining financial information; variance analysis included
* Maintaining the integrity of the finance systems, especially during the current implementation of system upgrades across the new subsidiaries
* Setting up and completing balance sheet reconciliations processes
* Preparing all regulatory returns requiring finance input, gathering the relevant information and being fully responsible for their integrity
* Creating an Excel model for the Group’s preparation of the statutory accounts
* Assisting in the preparation of the statutory accounts and completing the full annual audit process
Experience required:
Essential:
* Fully qualified Accountant
* Experience dealing with statutory accounts
Desirable:
* Experience in the Social Housing sector
Working hours:
* 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday
