I'm working with a UK giant in the financial and business services industries, with numerous offices up and down the country and an incredible reputation for supplying market leading services to some of country's biggest companies. My client is seeking a Senior Events Executive to join their team in Amersham where you will be based a couple of days a week, the rest from home or out at an event.
This Senior Events Executive is a key role in busy team who have responsibility for delivering a comprehensive portfolio of events across multiple areas of the business. This role demands the ability to switch between both online and in person events, often juggling these in parallel as part of a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Full ownership and end to end execution of flagship events activity across in-person, virtual and hybrid – ensuring budget and timescales are adhered to throughout the year.
Attendance and on the day management at allocated in person events when required.
Coordinate suppliers, handle client queries and troubleshoot on the day of the event if required.
Ensure agreed best practice for event delivery is adhered to across the team
Provide an overview and update of event project statuses across event team meetings.
Continual review and reporting of registration status of all allocated event projects.
Build relationships with internal stakeholders to provide end to end project support for allocated events – from kick offs, status updates through to wrap ups.
Liaison with external parties associated with event delivery – such as agencies, venues, guest speakers and AV/tech providers.
Define and execute a robust post event follow up process per event.Experience/Qualifications
A university degree with a focus in Marketing or Events Management would be preferred
A significant level of events experience across a variety of events projects
Demonstrating the ability to deliver highly impactful flagship events, with significant budgets and complex logistics
A solid understanding and demonstrable experience of delivering a variety of digital events across various platforms and delivering hybrid events
Ability to run multiple event projects in a busy faced paced environment is a must
A proven track record in delivering against key objectives is essential
Must be a self-starter, highly organised, and able to work well with colleagues at all levels in the organisation
Strong communication skills are essential
Must have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications.Candidates for this Senior Events Executive role will need to go to Amersham a couple of days/week so must live in a commutable area in places such as: Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Watford, High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Uxbridge, Maidenhead, Slough, Beaconsfield, Rickmansworth, Marlow, Berkhamsted, Wendover, Princes Risborough.
