The Role: CAD Engineer

You will be part of a team working for an SME engineering company where  flexibility and a positive attitude are highly rated. The principal job activity is the commercial designing and detailing of automation equipment and engineering solutions using a 3D Design Package, Experience with SolidWorks and/or Inventor is a must There will be occasional site visits to measure up and assess work which is sometimes at weekends around production  shutdowns. The work is varied as most of the systems are bespoke engineering solutions and will involve the following:- Design, detailing drawings, issuing drawings and creating parts list, site surveys, liaising with project managers and clients as required

Design and Detailing of Automation Equipment (Special Purpose Machinery / Conveyors etc)

The Right Person

The ideal candidate will have experience working with an Automation Company as well as the following key attributes:-

Ability to use SolidWorks and/or Inventor 

Sound Practical Engineering Knowledge

An Engineering Qualification would be advantageous but not essential.
