You will be required –
To work within the therapy department to provide occupational therapy assessment and rehabilitation to Patients with neuro-disability on an individual and group basis according to the agreed goals and objectives of Patients
Contribute to multi-disciplinary working across the Hospital and to work collaboratively with colleagues, nursing staff and other departments in the Hospital in the pursuit of providing an outstanding service and experience for Patients, and to ensure effective communication with other members of the team, Patients and relatives.
To supervise and mentor junior staff including other Occupational Therapists and/or Therapy Assistants.

Principle Roles and Clinical Responsibilities
To independently manage a designated caseload of clients with complex needs in spinal cord injuries and neurological conditions.
Professional
To be responsible for maintaining own competency to practice through CPD activities and maintain a portfolio which reflects personal development, including reflective practice.
To continually meet the physiotherapy competencies as defined in the role specific competency document for Physiotherapists and provide evidence of this during supervision and appraisals sessions and to use this as an opportunity to develop new competencies (technical and specialist) to maintain CPD.
Maintain and develop current knowledge of evidence-based practice with the scope and remit of the Patients admitted to the Hospital, and recognise professional boundaries, seeking advice where appropriate.
