Fabricator/ Welders x 5

Bedfordshire / Cambridgeshire / Northamptonshire

Days Temp to Perm

£13-15 d.o.e

Hours: 40 Hrs per week (Monday to Friday) Overtime available.

Reporting to: The Foreman and the Production Manager

Job Outline:

To provide excellent fabricating skills and weld to produce a smooth finish. To be able to read engineering drawings and work from them unsupervised.

Main Duties:

* Must be able to follow instructions and work from engineers’ drawings

* To provide fabricating skills to a high standard.

* To be able to weld and leave a smooth finish.

* To maintain a good standard of housekeeping and ensure that waste materials are cleared away regularly to keep a safe working environment.

* To adhere to the Health & Safety requirements set out in the Health & Safety Policy.

* To highlight improvements in the system and suggest corrective action.

* To be flexible with work patterns and times to meet the requirements of the business.

* To carry out any other duties reasonably required and requested.

Skills:

* Must have good fabricating skills with experience of working with steel

* To understand the equipment associated with fabricating and welding.

* Must have welding experience of MIG, MMA and Arc welding techniques.

* Copies of all welding certs and qualifications are to be provided.

* It is essential that you can read engineers drawings
