Quantity Surveyor
A successful contractor in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire have an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team
Our client predominantly works within the commercial, retail and industrial sectors. In addition, they have a sound track record working on Warehousing, Car Show Rooms, Schools and Mixed Development schemes.
They specialise in new build and refurbishment schemes from £1-20m
They are Investors In People, will offer you a clear progression route and a happy , collaborative working environment
This family run regional contractor are growing steadily year on year, most of their work is repeat business / negotiated work, and they have a strong pipeline of work going forward. They are growing the team – hence are looking for a Design Coordinator

Quantity Surveyor
You will predominantly office based in Milton Keynes with site visits
You will be running your own schemes which will be largely industrial schemes within 1.5 hours of Milton Keynes
You will be responsible for all aspects of your projects from tender handover to completion and will report into the Commercial Manager on each scheme
Typical scheme size £5-8m
Background/Experience:
3 years experience working as a Quantity Surveyor
Some form of construction qualification
Main Contractor experience
Experience running own schemes
Experience with industrial schemes is preferred but not essential, however mush have experience with steel frame buildings
Salary of £55-60,000 per annum
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
