The role of the Network scheduler is to ensure the schedules of our field based teams responsible for ‘charging on the go’ (FSEs) and ‘charging at home’ (Homecharge Electricians) are effective and filled to capacity where possible, having appropriately planned days’ work that complies with their set drive time and workload capacity to deliver a service loved for its quality. The role also requires liaising with customers with regards to their install appointment date/time
* Appropriately scheduling appointments to comply with the field based teams daily workload commitments and drive time
* Liaising closely with Customer Operations to ensure electricians jobs are good to go in a timely manner to avoid last minute changes to the schedule
* Communicating with the Homecharge stock controller to ensure the electricians have the appropriate units for their planned appointments
* Ensuring correct stock levels are in place our bybox storage solutions for our Engineer parts
* Working with the field based teams and our suppliers to ensure the correct level of consumables and van stock
* Liaising closely with production to ensure appropriate spares are available when looking at network failures
* Actioning install requests, survey requests and unit swap appointments in a timely manor
* Reviewing technical aspects of applications
* Proactively finding appointments to fill the schedule where necessary
* Forward planning on the schedules to ensure the field based teams are allocated to the most geographically appropriate jobs
* Sending schedules daily by 16.00 and ensuring the field base team are informed of any last minute changes to the schedule
* Updating reports daily
* Managing the daily issues that may occur in a proactive manor to ensure minimum negative impact for our field based teams and our customers
* Liaising directly with customers (B2C and B2B) to schedule installs and maintenance activity
