One of our most prestigious clients, a market leading well known British manufacturing brand is looking for a Value Stream Manager to motivate and drive the production team, at their Buckinghamshire.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will have complete responsibility for leading your team of (Apply online only) manufacturing staff.

Delivering support and encouragement to the team to achieve production and output targets/KPI on a daily basis and lead smaller process improvement teams as assigned.

Setting and monitoring weekly targets and objectives for the team.

Ensuring the highest standards of product quality, and integrity are achieved.

Driving daily improvement in line with management objectives around quality & safety standards.

Maintaining high levels of Housekeeping through rigorous conformance with 5s principles.

Driving safe working practices and conduct of the team.

Ensuring the team are properly trained and managed to work in a safe, quality conscious and effective way.

The Candidate

Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma qualification and or experience is required.

Previous Team Leadership experience is essential.

Experience of manual, assembly type manufacturing would be beneficial.

The ability to communicate clear objectives and motivate staff to achieve more is the key to success for this role.

As a Value Stream Leader for this business, you will have a strong work ethic with evident enthusiasm for the role. You will also be an exceptional team player who can galvanise support for achieving key objectives. You are a strong leader in transformation who can positively manage challenging environments.
