Team Leader
£30,000 – £32,000 per annum

Our client is looking for a Team Leader to lead and motivate their Internal Customer Success team. It will be the responsibility of the Team Leader to assist in maximising customer retention and improving customer satisfaction across the customer base, reducing churn for the business.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate not only the achievement of their own KPIs but also inspire and motivate the team to achieve their targets and develop. They must demonstrate team spirit, self-motivation and take ownership of regularly reviewing, coaching and mentoring all reports, ensuring skills develop and grow.
As a Team Leader, your duties will include but are not limited to:
Responsibility for the overall welfare and management of the team.
Leading, motivating and encouraging the team to perform effectively in their roles.
Managing team workloads, assisting with prioritisation where necessary.
Dealing with escalated internal and external customer calls or issues by taking ownership of the query through to resolution.
Preparing and assisting with Appraisals, Disciplinary hearings, 1:1's and sickness and holiday management.
Departmental recruitment and training within set parameters.
Consistently reviewing activities, making recommendations and implementing changes in line with the continuous improvement plan.
Building and maintaining strong working relationships with other business functions to leverage the wider community of expertise as required.
Balancing workload across the team to ensure the best performance outcomes.
To be a successful Team Leader, you will need to have:
Previous experience/knowledge of a customer service/support environment.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Demonstrable experience in managing, motivating and monitoring team performance.
Enthusiastic with a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
Excellent time management skills.
Analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable tasks/projects.
Ability to multi-task in a pressured environment.
Self-motivated as well as the ability to motivate others.
A hands-on approach and able to lead by example.
Ability to liaise with customer as colleagues at all levels.
