Our Milton Keynes based client is looking for a Part Time Receptionist to join their small team, within a warm and welcoming office, on a temporary to permanent basis.

The right candidate will provide patients with a friendly and confidential service, booking  appointments and handling any general queries. They will also be immediately available to start.

Position: Part Time Receptionist

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7.45am-1.00pm AND 1pm to 6.30pm mixed shifts (27.5 hours total)

Salary: £8.91 per hour

The job will involve…

–          Ensuring all patients, visitors and telephone call to the practice are greeted professionally

–          Answering all incoming calls and diverting them as appropriate

–          Supporting Doctors, Nurses and clinicians ensuring clinics run smoothly 

–          Dealing with administrative queries and requests from patients

–          Acting as a liaison with clinicians when necessary

–          Assisting with prescriptions and queries

–          Making, arranging and cancelling appointments via the clinical system (SYSTMONE)

–          Providing support to the Medical Administrator Supervisor, actioning delegated tasks

–          Assisting any further clerical and administrative duties when required.  

The Person will…

–          Possess exceptional customer service skills

–          Possess experience of using SYSTMONE (not essential)

–          Will have a patient focused approach to their work

–          Be eager to learn processes and grow within the organisation

–          Have great attention to detail

–          Have the ability to adapt to all situations

–          Computer literate and able to pick up new in-house systems easily

–          Be a great team player

–          Work independently, using own initiative

–          Be required to undergo a DBS Check
