Graduate Technical Support Engineer

A well-established Industrial equipment supplier that are looking to expand their workforce. They have a strong reputation in the local area and are seeking individuals that can help strengthen the reputation.

The Role
My client is looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Technical Support Engineer to join a fast-paced growing team. They are looking for enthusiastic graduates that are looking for the first step in their career and looking to be involved in yearlong training programme.

Responsibilities

* Offering first class technical support to several clients

* Liaising and being first line of contact for customers via telephone and email

* Being involved with all product and customer promotions

* Learning how to programme PLC’s

* Learning how to code PLC’s

* Working closely with major engineering companies offering support

* Using Kerridge SAP system, processing customer quotations and orders along with engaging manufacturers with a range of enquiries up to and including product availability

* Maintaining customer account data, keeping records up to date

* Liaise with External Sales Team, other departments, and manufacturers as required

The Candidate
To apply for this role, you must:

1. Hold an engineering degree ideally an automation focused degree

2. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly to both internal staff and to customers

3. Be able to drive and own transport

4. Motivated individual

Reward
The salary offered for this position is £20,000- £25,000 to a candidate that can meet all key qualifications and abilities
