Our client is seeking a 2nd Line Service Desk Technician to join their forward-thinking, innovative company.
The successful candidate will ensure the smooth running of customer systems and network infrastructure.
The role is offered on a Contract basis.
Hours: 9am – 5.30pm

Key responsibilities:
Answering inbound calls within agreed timeline
Provide level 2 server, network and desktop technical support
Diagnose customer issues, providing a high level fix
Action hardware configurations and software installations
End to end ownership of problem resolution
Managing client expectations
Create and maintain customer specific infrastructure documentation
You will require:
Previous experience as a service desk engineer and in a field services role supporting SME’s
Experience of working in a customer facing role
Familiar working to SLA’s
Experience with Veeam backup and replication, MS Windows Server Technologies (intermediate knowledge), Office 365, Active Directory, VMWare VSphere, Firewalls, Router, Switches and VPN Technologies
Citrix Xenapp and Netscaler
Cisco / Sonicwall installation and configuration
Supporting multi-site clients
