About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced qualified accountant looking for an influential role to join our team. Overall responsibility will be to contribute in supporting managers around the organisation on all aspects of budgeting, financial performance reporting, forecasting, financial business analysis and regulatory reporting.
Ideally you will have working knowledge of the following systems: Infor BI, Sun , Infor Q&A, Proactis, Vision, Unity and QL. You will also have had exposure to regulatory reporting.
On the Job you will:
be pivotal in establishing relationships with budget holders and using financial skills to support operational goals.
be responsible for preparation of regulatory returns requiring finance input
contribute to the production of finance reports for various stakeholders e.g. monthly management accounts , quarterly finance reports, budgets, forecasts etc
be responsible for the relevant finance systems maintenance
assist it the preparation of statutory accounts and audit
assist in maintaining the integrity of finance systems
About You
We’re looking for someone who understands how to connect with people and has a track record of engaging with management ideally working within housing, Not for Profit or Public sector.
The successful individual will provide financial support, insight and analysis to key service areas across the organisation. Have proven business partnering and management accounting skills and experience. Be a team player that can think outside the box, use their initiatives and able stay calm under pressure.

You will ideally have skills and attributes that include:
excellent communication skills both verbal and written
great at relationship building with strong customer service skills
advanced excel and in-depth knowledge of integrated financial systems with multiple entities
highly organised to be able manage priorities and deliver to deadlines
attention to detail especially in confirming the accuracy of all reports
you enjoy a challenging role
are motivated to make a difference in the local community.
The successful candidate will be CCAB qualified.
