Machine Operator
£10ph rising to £10.80ph after 12 weeks
Milton Keynes

We're recruiting for a Machiner Operator who will use a variety of high vacuum coating machines for our manufacturing client in Milton Keynes.

Your responsibilities in this role include:

Loading, operating and unloading High Vacuum Coating machines
Assembling components/tools into batches
Controlling operations using MRP (SAP)
Using measuring tools 
Using hand tools
Using computer controls
Controlling operations using MRP (SAP)
Using Basic Excel/Word/Outlook
Machine Batch Change over & associated machine configuration changes
Basic Operator Maintenance
Manual Handling
Using Cameras Requirements:

Basic Literacy, Numeracy and English Language
Basic Computer Literacy (Word, Excel etc.)
Manual Dexterity  
Desirable but not essential:

Previous experience of hand tools/engineering practices
Knowledge of SAP
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to read engineering/technical drawings
Previous experience in an industrial coating type business This working hours for this role is a 37.5 hour week with rotating shifts (one week on each) as below:

Early: 5:30-13:30 
Late: 13:00-21:00 The company also operates a night shift (21:00 – 05:00) however, this is not currently active and would run on a volunteer basis only.
