Live-in Gardener/Handyman

Our client is looking for an experienced Gardener/Handyman for their home in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire to carry out gardening/handyman duties on a full-time basis.

The full-time Gardener/Handyman duties involve being responsible for carrying out all aspects of ground maintenance and gardening, including carrying out planned seasonal maintenance; setting out and maintaining formal gardens; planning and maintaining a kitchen garden for the main house; making use of greenhouses in producing bedding plants, vegetables and fruit as required; using and maintaining a full range of horticultural equipment. Other duties may also be required to be undertaken from time to time.

The right applicant should have a positive, openminded and modern attitude towards communication and co-operation with both internal and external associates. Required attributes include:

* Attention to detail.

* Ability to proactively identify problems and recommend solution.

* Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and motivate staff.

* To hold a current driver’s licence.

* To properly carry out his/her duties.

Hours of work will be 40 hours a week with occasional weekend work. A competitive salary package is offered, with salary negotiable on experience, along with various benefits which include separate accommodation, self-contained cottage with kitchen/living area, bedroom and bathroom, all bills paid.

Excellent references required, and previous experience is essential.
