About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Resident Engagement officer to join our team.
Working in our Communications and Communities team you will help to deliver our communities and resident engagement framework in line with the Social Housing White Paper and support the development of strong self-sustaining communities.
On the Job you will:
implement the Trust’s communities and resident involvement framework
deliver community projects and events undertaking planning and organisational activity as well as engaging with residents
support the Community Engagement Business Partner with providing advice to resident groups, committees and panels
deliver local community campaigns working with external stakeholders and associations
record and track all resident and community engagement activity using appropriate systems
provide advice and guidance to the business on resident and community engagement
recognise opportunities to improve the Trust’s reputation through resident and community engagement
liaise with external agencies and suppliers as appropriate
comply with regulatory requirements and work within relevant legal boundaries e.g. data protection, copyright and consumer regulation.
About You
We’re looking for someone who understands how to connect with people and is great at communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, understanding the needs of residents and diverse communities and has a proven track record in resident engagement.

You will ideally have skills and attributes that include:

The minimum qualifications required are –
Educated to A level (or equivalent)
Experience working and liaising at a number of levels in a community role
Experience of working with voluntary and or community organisations
Knowledge and understanding of community engagement
