Our client, is a public distance Learning & Research University and one of the biggest universities in the UK for undergraduate education.
They are looking to recruit an experienced Rewards, Benefits and Performance Manager to provide vital support to their People Services Team. This role is to start asap for 4 months. This role is currently working from home and equipment will be supplied.
This role is paying between £27.73ph – £31.20ph, (£53-£60,000pa) dependent on experience, working a 37hr week.
The purpose of the role is to act as an expert within reward and contribute to the delivery of the OU reward strategy so that the organisation achieves its strategic objective. The OU's reward aim is to 'Reward' our people to ensure we recognise their contribution, their commitment and the behaviours expected to support our mission and culture.
Key Duties:
In collaboration with the Head of Reward and Insight, lead the development of the pay, reward, recognition and benefits strategies across the OU to ensure the reward offering engages colleagues and is aligned with the University's strategic objectives.
Lead, create and implement consistent ways of working to ensure reward and benefits strategies and frameworks (both tangible and non-tangible) comply with University and public-sector regulations, governance and are legally compliant.
Skills and Experience:
Fellow or chartered member of CIPD membership or equivalent experience in specialist field.
Very significant experience in a specialist reward and benefits role, operating with a high degree of autonomy within a regulated procedural context.
Significant experience of developing Reward and Performance Management frameworks/ solutions aligned to the organisation's Strategy
Experience of working in HR in a complex unionised organisation.
