Purpose of the role
The role involves supporting existing business and maintaining current customer relationships, as well as developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting internal and external sales staff
Preparation of quotes and engaging in product technical discussions with the customer
Managing sales follow up and reporting activities
Customer relationship management
Supporting development of new business opportunities
Participating in sales and marketing activities – including exhibition attendance
Maintaining and developing customer relationships
Qualifications / Essential Skills
Good first degree in material science, chemistry, physics or a related discipline
Experience of commercial or customer facing role would be highly desirable although training will be provided
Working experience of compound semiconductor materials would be highly desirable
