Regional Operations Manager
Childrens Residential Care
£50,000 – £65,000DOE + bonus and benefits

A large and well established children's care provider, operating residential, educational and therapeutic services. They promote ethical and respectful work practices and as a result, are regularly receiving good or outstanding across their services. The Client has proven to be one of the most innovative providers of young people’s care and education in the UK and with continual success, they are opening schools and residential homes and making a difference for young people in a variety of new areas as well as continuing to support young people in our established services.
We are supporting our client with the recruitment for two Regional Operations Managers to look after the homes across a designated area.

The Role
The Regional Operational Manager is the lead operational role within their identified region with supervision for the provisions of care and the environment coupled with all regional matters relating to specific geographical operational work and statutory practice. The focus on the homes across the regions are for stability, excellent outcomes for young people, developing outstanding services, professionally trained staff and attain financial viability to secure growth.
Duties:
* To ensure that each children’s home meets and exceeds the standards and expectations contained in its Statement of Purpose.
* Direct and manage all matters of statutory compliance for the home.
* Ensure continual quality improvement to achieve and maintain Ofsted Outstanding/Good.
* Identify, report and manage current and emergent risks, including those that may impinge upon safeguarding and statutory compliance or inspection rating.
* Manage local budgets and financial controls.

Requirements
* Minimum 2 years experience as an Registered Manager, Operations Manager or Responsible individual.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services.
* Robust knowledge and application of law and best practice relating to looked after children
