Sales and Marketing Administrator
Milton Keynes, MK5 6HF
£10 – £12 per hour, dependent on experience
Part-time, 25 Hours per week
Monday to Friday, 09.30 – 14.30
Shenley Leisure Centre was opened in 1991 with a vision and mission to deliver an inclusive range of Health and Wellbeing initiatives to the local community whilst providing a clean, safe, and happy leisure experience.
The Opportunity
As a Sales & Marketing administrator you will primarily share our passion for excellent customer service and assist with the development of the Centre with innovative ideas, sales skills and by taking ownership of the role.
As our Sales & Marketing Administrator you will:
* Produce weekly sales reports on all sales activity’s relating to Leisure and Hospitality.
* Produce marketing collateral in line with the annual marketing calendar.
* Be responsible for content writing with particular focus on monthly blogs and quarterly newsletter.
* Take ownership of email & text marketing campaigns (Creation, Execution & Reporting).
* Ensure all internal and external posters are updated and displayed throughout the Centre.
* Update marketing display screens with new content.
* Be responsible for all bookings within the Centre.
* Create weekly booking sheets and informing the team of all events & bookings.
* Update our website with new content and report on web analytics.
* Manage all social media channels and produce new weekly content of posts for all platforms.
* Attend internal and external networking events.
* Undertake re-active and pro-active sales calls when required.
* Conduct tours for prospective new members and hirers.
* Drive income in all areas of the business.
* Liaise and communicate with all departments through weekly Sales & Marketing Reports.
* Deliver customer service excellence by caring about our loyal users, members and visitors whilst seeking opportunities to build rapport with them and ensure they are happy with their experience.
The Person
You will be a highly motivated, driven and focused person. You will possess excellent business acumen and be experienced in sales and promotion within a business environment. You will have superb communication skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to think on your feet, a natural talker with a vibrant personality.
You will also have excellent computer skills and experience especially with Microsoft Office, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. You will be confident and be very comfortable talking to people at all levels within any organisation. You will need to have excellent telephone manner.
You will be well presented and organised at all times. A positive thinker who is also a realist and who enjoys a challenge. We work in a small team environment so a team player will also be key.
