Centre Support Administrator
Milton Keynes, MK5 6HF
Part-time, 25 Hours per week
Monday to Friday, 09.30 – 14.30
Shenley Leisure Centre was opened in 1991 with a vision and mission to deliver an inclusive range of Health and Wellbeing initiatives to the local community whilst providing a clean, safe, and happy leisure experience.
The Opportunity
As a Centre Support Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the management and sales team, having an eye for the finer detail and excellent organisation skills.
As our Centre Support Administrator, you will:
* Be responsible for filing all booking and membership forms.
* Ensure sales and POS system are up to date and correct.
* Be able to produce invoices for all bookings.
* Minute taking when required.
* Collaborate weekly reports given to you by the different departments.
* Manage all timesheets from the different departments to assist with payroll.
* Generate job advertisements when needed.
* Open the office mail and disseminate.
* Preparation of outgoing post.
* Answering office phone calls and emails.
* Managing inventory of office supplies including stationary.
* Liaise with clients and suppliers to arrange meetings for management.
* Provide a range of administrative duties such as scanning, photocopying, printing and filing.
* Monitor, log and distribute customer feedback forms.
* Other general administrative support as directed by the Chief Executive.
The Person
You will be self-motivated, trustworthy and reliable with the confidence to talk to people at all levels within any organisation. You will need good communication skills both written and verbal and able to communicate information to the team when instructed. Ensure that you meet GDPR guidelines within the workplace. You will have the ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines with a flexible approach and willingness to learn.
You must have excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office programmes and experience in minute taking is ideal but not essential. The ability to learn new computer systems quickly is a must to ensure the team can be supported efficiently.
The ideal candidate will need to have excellent time and organisation management with a strong attention to detail. Experience of dealing with face-to-face customers and managing visitors’ needs will be an advantage. You will need to be well presented and enthusiastic with strong customer service focus, whilst remaining professional at all times.
