Avocet Staffing are looking to recruit an experienced Registered Manager to work with our client at their offices in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

My client is an establishment Domiciliary Care Company based in Milton Keynes that specialise in Learning Difficulties/ Autism, mental health and physical disabilities across all ages. With over 60 staff and specialist managers who work with service users in Supported Living, outreach and social opportunities they support approximately 80 service users

They are looking for a passionate, caring and motivated individual who would like to develop their skills and knowledge within an expanding company.

As a Registered Manager you will be responsible for:

* Ensuring that our service complies with CQC requirements.

* Oversee and reviewing the implementation of company policy and procedures.

* Ensuring that the service provided is of the highest standard and maintained at this standard at all times through quality assurance.

* Liaise with professionals from local authorities and CCG to meet contractual needs.

* Producing and implementing Service development plans.

* Supervision of management team, providing 1:1 supervision of staff as and when required along with annual staff appraisals.

* Organizing and leading management meetings.

* Writing of service users’ support plans and risk assessments and updating when required.

* Completing regular auditing of services and spot checks of staff and Service User's.

* Managing safeguarding concerns and accidents/incidents.

* Recruiting staff to ensure safe services and practices, ensuring following current legislation and equal opportunities.

* Providing care and support to our Service Users as and when required.

* Take part in the on call rota on a rotational basis.

Education:

* NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or higher

Experience:

* Proven CQC experience at good or more rating (desirable)

* Business development skills

* Learning Disability /Autism and mental health experience are essential.

* Previous care coordinating and management skills within the domiciliary care sector is essential

* Strong leadership

* Proven strong interagency working on positive level

* Good knowledge of local area

* Excellent IT and organisation skills

* Have a UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Rewards/Benefits:

* Paid sleep-ins (£70 per sleep in)

* Paid mileage (35p per mile)

* Pension scheme- Nest pension

* Paid on call (£50 a week)

* Generally not required to work evenings or weekends unless covering staff sickness care calls

Salary:

* £35,000 per annum
