Our client is seeking a candidate to join their Procurement team to work a 9 – 12 month maternity cover contract.

Though the role is titled Procurement Analyst, they do not require an experienced analyst.

A candidate with previous procurement administrative experience; setting up suppliers, tracking information on Excel, (good clear communication and strong Excel skills) will be effective.

Based in the Milton Keynes office 2/3 days per week, the rest of the working week will be spent working remotely. Ideal working hours will be Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm.

The annual salary is just over £21,000.

Daily duties and responsibilities:
* Support Category Management and business stakeholders with data analysis
* Provide basic market research
* Assist and support Category team with tendering processes
* Complete on-going administrative tasks related to the systems and maintain supplier's data
* Filing and maintaining supplier contracts
* Maintain team files and key procurement documentation
* Provide first line support to internal customers and suppliers on procurement processes and policy
* Communicating with all levels within the organisation.
Experience/competencies required:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, with ability to run pivot tables and basic formulas.
* Basic PowerPoint and Word skills.
* Strong Problem-solving skills.
* High level of accuracy & attention to detail.
* Experience of working in a similar support function and can demonstrate good knowledge of procurement processes is desirable.
* Effective communicator with fluency in English both written and oral.
* Proactive attitude, with strong organisation skills with the ability to multi-task.
