Job Title: Design Engineer

Job Location: Slough, Berkshire

Benefits: 26 days holiday, pension, annual bonus & more!

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

The Company:

We are a fast growing, entrepreneurial and forward-thinking manufacturer of high-performance fluid dynamics solutions engineered for flawless precision operation in high-performance, often harsh and demanding conditions.

Key Candidate Attributes:

* Educated to degree level in mechanical, automotive, or motor sport engineering.

* Experience of working in a manufacturing environment with high quality standards.

* Good telephone manner.

* Must be able to work well as part of a team and to tight deadlines.

* Ability to be flexible around workload and willing to learn new skills.

* Be practical, efficient, and able to prioritise workload in a busy working environment.

* Experience with 3D CAD software: CATIA, CREO, SOLIDWORKS preferable.

* Experience of general tolerancing and fit tolerances.

* Experience of creation and interpretation of engineering drawings.

* Hands on experience of welding, machining, assembly preferable but not essential.

* Be enthusiastic about joining an established and growing company and be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve quality and productivity.

* An interest in motor sport.

General Responsibilities:

* Be able to use company software system.

* To have good technical understanding of temperatures and pressures when applied to hose assemblies.

* Work in engineering department to prepare and respond to potential orders and maximise opportunities.

* To maintain regular consistent and professional attendance and punctuality.

* Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.

* To undertake any other duties, from time to time, as can be reasonably requested by the company.
