If you're an experienced Marketer who can lead from the front, this might be just the role for you.
The role is for an experienced Marketing Manager, with experience of working for an SME manufacturer ideally but not essential, the individual will be from an engineering/building product-based environment. They will manage the channels of marketing into Resellers, Architects, Contractors, Specifiers, Builders and Homeowners.
We are looking for a Marketing Manager to take ownership of the entire Product & Marketing strategy into the above channels and reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Direct reports 4 x Category/Product Managers, 1 x Graphic Designer 2 x Marketing Assistants
The candidate will have strong leadership skills and must be comfortable working within a technical product environment along with having good commercial acumen.
Key responsibilities:
Copywriting and content management
Marketing budget
Brand awareness and compliance
Data analytics
PR and corporate communication
Manage marketing & product managers
Develop and manage a fully integrated annual marketing calendar
Create marketing plans around specific product groups, customer types and channels
Create case studies by working with stakeholders
Create blog, social, video, brochure, and email content
Website
Develop and create point of sale collateral
Manage and maintain the marketing function of the CRM
Arrange and deliver trade exhibitions, events, conferences
Develop and maintain resources to include templates, brand guidelines, collateral, assets etc
Engagement with external stakeholders, agencies, media, customers, industry bodies
Track, analyse and report on all marketing activity

Essential Skills
B2B & B2C Marketing experience
Previous experience as a Marketing Manager
Experience working in an SME manufacture of products
Solid understanding of digital (SEO, SEM, CRO, CMS, PPC) eCommerce and traditional
marketing tools
Degree/CIM qualification or equivalent industry experience
Highly organised and efficient and must be able to multi-task and prioritise
Demonstrate superior copywriting, proofreading skills and have a good attention for detail
Numerical and analytical and good time management
Confident communicator to external stakeholderDesirable Skills
