Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a Service Team Leader to join one of the leading Water and Wastewater treatment business in the UK. They have a solid track record of providing innovative solutions to water purification, industrial effluent and sustainable water saving needs and are one of the market leaders in temporary water treatment services. They are currently looking for a Service Team Leader to work in a field-based role around the South of England. Working as a Service Team Leader, you will be expected to travel widely and at short notice as required. You will also be included on a rota to provide out of hours cover and emergency rapid response to the clients.
Role Responsibilities
As a Service Team Leader your responsibilities will be but not limited too;
Carry out preventive maintenance and commissioning work.
Provide reports on progress, submission of risk assessments and time sheets.
Offering the client after-sales technical and commercial support on future product development.
Undertaking refurbishment works and upgrades to equipment.
Provide regular updates to Line Managers on any financial or operational issues
Attending site visits and management meetings
Managing a team of Technicians and Engineers
The Ideal Candidates
To be considered for this position, candidates are expected to have good working knowledge of the water and water treatment industry as well as extensive knowledge of similar products, applications, and markets.
You must have a relevant qualification at HNC level (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering as a minimum. The candidate will also be a committed and pragmatic team player, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a team efficiently.
The ideal candidate will also have excellent verbal and written communication and an ability to liaise and communicate with all areas of the business.
