About The Role
EKFB are looking to recruit a Gate Access Supervisor for our North Chilterns Area. You will report to the Logistics Manager for this section and will hold key relationships with our Logistics and Security Team, Operational Support Control Room (OSCR), Delivery Team, Supply chain and Sub Contractors.
As a Gate Access Supervisor you will be responsible for safe and efficient management of the access points for all compounds and work sites within your assigned section to enable construction works across area C23 of the HS2 Project.
Access and egress control at EKFB sites are fundamental to our compliance with the HS2 Act. As the key interface between the logistical and security functions you will ensure the service quality, legislative compliance and service delivery of the third-party security provider is met.
You will be front of house representation for EKFB within this role. You must understand the requirements of the HS2 Act, its associated documents and the Construction Logistics Plan, enforcing requirements of this in the relevant areas. You must ensure there is sufficient resource in place at all times.
You must ensure the Access Control Staff have all of the correct equipment and training to undertake their duties. You'll also be responsible for ensuring all Access Control Staff are following process to ensure compliance of deliveries and in accordance with the EKFB vehicle management booking process.
You must assist the Area Security and Resilience Manager in coordinating emergency services during incidents. We'd also like you to support the Logistics and Traffic Management Teams within your operational area.
About The Candidate
Key Skills and Qualifications:
You must hold a Security Industry Authority (SIA) License
We would welcome applicants who hold an SMSTS or SSSTS qualification
A CSCS card would also be valuable
Working knowledge of FORS/CLOCS is needed
As part of the Client’s commitment to up skilling logistics professionals, you will either hold or work towards an appropriate nationally recognised standard endorsed by the Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transport or other relevant professional body.
