My Client is recruiting for a Service Team Leader in the Water Sector
This is a field based role and would suit someone living in the South of England; however you will be required to travel to client sites outside of this area depending on your work schedule.
A flexible approach to customers' needs and working hours is required in this role and may include the need for you to work some weekends and during some public holidays. You will also be included on a rota to provide out of hours cover and rapid response to our clients.
The position also requires some working from home ad-hoc to provide support to the Service Delivery Manager in the effective management of the service team.
As Service Team Leader you will provide our clients with the best in class quality service. This role is focused on the Industrial market.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
To develop and maintain good working relationships with customers through providing best in class quality service by;
Always being punctual, helpful and courteous.
Carrying out preventive maintenance and commissioning work
Providing timely reporting on progress / delays, submission of risk assessment work reports, time sheets and all other documentation.
The timely completion of site tasks and activities as required.
Offering the client after-sales technical and commercial support and feedback on future product development, feature and functions.
Looking for recommendations and opportunities to improve the clients system, (reliability or productivity) and where appropriate QOF the client for parts, consumables or plant.
Undertaking upgrades and refurbishment work.
For all of the above, provide regular updates to your line manager on any issues that may result in financial, reputational or operational impact on the Company.
Provide support to line manager with team management including;
Attending site visits and customer meetings.
Completing engineer audits including van stocks and ensuring all PPE is maintained correctly.
Administrative support.
Onboarding of new engineers.
Carry out breakdown work – troubleshooting /fault finding.
Liaise and work with the appropriate sales team.
Qualifications and Experience:
As Service Team Leader you will have extensive knowledge and experience of the company products, applications and markets.
You will have excellent communication skills with previous client facing experience and be punctual and presentable.
A qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering is required for this position.
As this is a field based role a Full UK Driving Licence is essential
