Description: This leading healthcare group operates hospitals UK wide, providing exceptional healthcare, medical and surgical services to millions of patients each year. This is a leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.
As a result of on-going growth, the hospital now has a requirement for an experienced Theatre Nurse Manager (RN/ODP) who is looking to further their career within a supportive and dynamic environment.
You will work as part a team of caring and highly trained nursing/allied healthcare professionals and have access to some of the latest technology and equipment. The Theatre is designed to be ergonomic to create the optimal operating environment, and it can be quickly transitioned to accommodate open as well as minimally invasive procedures.
Your role as a Theatre Nurse Manager (RN/ODP) will be to provide clear direction and leadership to all theatre staff, whilst supporting the initiatives of the hospital. The role is responsible for development, motivation, and performance of the Theatre Team, ensuring the achievement of CQC Standards.
This opportunity will allow you to plan the delivery of safe clinical care in line with business needs, as well as the day-to-day organisation and management of care provision within the department. You will manage the theatre team, both clinical and non-clinical.
Specialities include Orthopaedics, ENT, Cardiology, Gynaecology, Oral & Maxillofacial and Paediatrics.
This is a full-time role (37.5hrs per week), you will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Person Specification: To succeed as a Theatre Nurse Manager (RN/ODP) you will need experience working within an operating theatre, NMC registered RN Adult or HCPC registered ODP. You will also have evidence of relevant professional development, both clinically and managerially.
