Customer Service Advisor

Our client is a dynamic and fast moving national distribution company supplying the kitchen industry with the highest quality products.
We are seeking a highly motivated and conscientious individual to join the Customer Service Department to work remotely from home. You must have excellent communication skills, strong organisational skills, demonstrate good attention to detail, and possess a keen interest in delivering high levels of customer service.
Main duties will include:
• Patiently and attentively listen to customers and logs details of the issue to ensure that their needs can be addressed.
• Quickly learn the work flows of the department to be able to respond to customer complaints
• Accurately record and log interaction with customers and update information so this can be retrieved to create reports for management
• Research answers or solutions as required
• Keeps sensitive information and financial records private and confidential
• Escalate issue/complaint where assistance from a Senior Manager is required
• Work with management to maintain best practices for efficient communication with customers
• Knowledge of updated company rules and policies to address issues such as service issues, faulty/missing parts
• Meet regularly with team leader to give feedback to help improve customer service culture, response time and tools to improve customer experience
• Willing to learn from management to properly apply company policy to customer solutions
• Work with other departments to resolve issues
Essential experience / skills required:
Competent using MS Excel and Outlook
Able to provide excellent customer service at all levels
Self-motivated
Professional, polite, considerate and courteous manner with exceptional phone etiquette
Excellent communicator both written and verbal, with good speaking and listening skills
Customer service support experience within an office
Ideal Background:
Must come from a Customer Service background and preferable, although not essential some experience of appliances or sinks and taps
Experience working in service beneficial, with some legal knowledge of consumer rights
