Job role: Welder / Fabricator

Contract Type: Full Time / Permanent

Basic Rate: £35,100 – £37,440

Location: High Wycombe 

Contract Hours: 07:30 – 17:30 Monday – Friday, no weekend or out of hours to cover

My client, a specialist in the repair and maintenance of Buses, Trucks and Classical Cars is actively seeking to employ a fully skilled and experienced Welder / Fabricator to work within their business.

You will be required to undertake Welding / Fabricating on commercial vehicle bodies and chassis in a maintenance and refurbishment setting. Please find below the essential requirements that my client is looking for;

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Experience in MIG & TIG welding 1.6mm – 6mm depth.
Experience working with Stainless Steel.

SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES

Ability to build and tack weld fabrication from a drawing and then complete welding
Ability to spot visual faults in fabrications and correct them in a timely fashion.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

QUALIFICATIONS

Welding/Fabrication Qualifications.
Relevant intense welding training courses.
Welding approval certificates.
