Our client operates within the legal sector and has a vacancy for a Part Time Accounts Assistant. Ideally, you will work 3.5hrs a day over 4 days and 4 hours on day 5, so a total of 18 hours a week.
Role and Requirements
* Processing of purchase ledger invoices on to the accounting system
* Review of supplier statements and liaising with external suppliers relating to discrepancies
* Preparation and processing of weekly payment runs
* Supporting with the annual audit
* Authorisation of client and office account payments
* Preparation of prepayments
* Assist with authorisation of staff expenses
* Assist with file management such as closure of inactive matters
You will need to have high academics in maths and English, ability to work within a pressurised environment and the confidence and ability to communicate at senior levels and to liaise with all parties both internal and external. Previous experience within an Accounts department in a legal firm is advantageous.
