Job role and background information:
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate, possibly a recent graduate looking for a new challenge within the events and incentive travel industry. Effective Business need a dynamic event manager to join the team. Based at our offices in Gerrards Cross you will be responsible for supporting existing accounts, helping to deliver their events in the UK and possibly overseas. This will involve liaison with food & beverage suppliers, merchandise, transport and venues.
We have a great reputation with a focus on high service levels, delivering experiences beyond client and guest expectations. So we are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual ideally with some experience or knowledge of the hospitality and event industries. The ability to work on their own and as part of a team. The successful applicant will also have outstanding people skills and show a keen attention to detail.
Summary of role and responsibilities
* Conducting research for the production of events and proposals
* Compiling proposals and project budgets
* Negotiating with suppliers
* Delivery against financial and service targets
* Effectively communicating with clients, partners and suppliers
* Managing third party relationships

Hours: 9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday Salary: £24,000 + Benefits
Please be aware that the nature of the role will include time away from home for events at weekends, evenings or abroad. You will be compensated financially on these occasions.
