Our client is a modern Accountancy Practice based in Milton Keynes who is currently looking for a highly driven and determined Semi Senior Accountant with experience working within a UK practice environment.
This would be the perfect position for someone who is reliable and hardworking who can work independently and take their own initiative. The Semi Senior must have experience producing sole traders and small business accounts and will be confident to work in a role that will require direct interaction with clients.
Semi Senior’s Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Interacting with clients to resolve queries where necessary
* Providing leadership to junior member of staff when required.
* Processing payroll for certain clients.
* Preparing and submitting statutory accounts for sole traders and small limited companies.
* Preparing personal and business tax returns.
* Reviewing and submitting VAT returns.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
* Effective communication skills.
* Good organisational skills.
* Minimum 2 years practice experience.
* Positive and encouraging manner with clients.
* AAT Qualified / QBE / ACCA/ ACA.
