Leo Xander are looking for a Civils Site Manager with previous experience from a similar role to oversee the construction of a car park in a residential development. My client are looking for a Civils Site Manager to work alongside a contracts manager and groundworks sub-contractor. Scope of works to include, but not limited to: ground stabilisation, drainage works, kerbs, paving and all related works. This current opportunity is for 12 weeks with an immediate start.

Requirements

* SMSTS

* CSCS

* First Aid at Work

* A strong knowledge of similar civil engineering projects

* Strong knowledge of legislation and regulations used within the Civil Engineering

* Previous experience working in a similar role

* Degree in Civil Engineering is desirable

The Role:

* Management of sub-contractors, labourers and onsite staff

* Management and control of health and safety issues

* Understanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works

* Understand quality requirements from specs and drawings and ensure compliance with both

* Identifying and communicating any issues or delays on site to the senior management team
