Trainee Tyre Fitter

Shift Pattern: Day shifts

Pay rates: PAYE: £10.47 Per Hour Umbrella: £11.47 Per Hour

Igloo has a fantastic opportunity for a number of trainee tyre fitters to work in the Milton Keynes. These roles offer successful candidates the opportunity to learn a new trade within the automotive industry, you will be given full training whilst working on the behalf of one of the UK’s leading automotive companies.

The Role:

You will be trained on all aspects of tyre fitments before being given the responsibility of working on your own changing tyres on a variety of wheels.

You will be trained up in the below areas:

* On all the equipment and tools required to change tyres

* The skills required to remove the old tyre and fit a new one

* How to balance the wheel

* Wheel aligning

What kind of person we are looking for?:

* Able to carry out the work to a high standard

* Keen to learn and be trained

* Excellent attention to detail

* Will need to hold a full category B driving license with no more than 6 points for minor offences

* Must be able to work under own initiative as well as being a team player
