Tyre Fitter (Trainee or experienced)

Milton Keynes

£25,038 Salary OTE £29,000 (Overtime paid at time and a half)

Permanent Position

Tyre Fitter – We currently have several opportunities Tyre fitters to work within a state-of-the-art Wheel refurbishment facility in Milton Keynes. You don't need to have much experience as we are willing to train, but you do need to be good with your hands and have an interest in working in the automotive industry.

The Job: Trainee Tyre Fitter / Tyre Fitter

As a tyre fitter, the main purpose of this role will be to train to use our clients range of specialist tyre fitting equipment to fit and strip tyres and wash alloys removed from water based chemical tanks.
As a tyre fitter your role will involve using specialised equipment within the wheel refurbishment process.
Tyre Fitting/Wheel Exchange.
Washing Down Alloys which have been Chemically Stripped.
Keying up alloys and de-weight and de-valving alloys.
Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed.
Ensure workshop is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Any other reasonable management request.
You will be required to adhere to the company's health and safety policy and procedures and contribute to good housekeeping.

Job Experience Required: Tyre Fitter

Possess a full UK clean driving license for both manual and automatic.
Able to lift heavy items (up to 25kg) for a sustained period within a workshop environment
Able to follow instructions accurately
Attention to detail.
The ability to use your own initiative but also know when matters need to be referred to a supervisor.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Able to communicate clearly and concisely.
