Assistant Door Engineer – £18500p.a.

RHL FM & Technical are currently supporting a market leading facilities maintenance business in their search of an Assistant Door Engineer to join them on a permanent basis in the Milton Keynes region.

Our Client have several sites across the U.K where they specialise in the Maintenance, Installation & Manufacturing of Aluminium, Thermal & Security Doors to Commercial, Industrial & Domestic premises.

Ideally, they are looking for someone who can think outside the box, who wants to learn and grow with the business as they will spend time & money investing in Training you to become a door engineer.

The roles and duties of this position consist of the following –

Assisting in the loading and unloading of installation vehicles
Assisting the Lead Engineer in their core duties
Stripping out of the doors from the units
Fixing new doors to units and making sure they are weather right
Various aspect of building work
Dealing with customers / sub-contractors
Making sure yard is clean and tidy
Complete relevant training courses The successful candidate will have

Experience operating with hand tools and power tools
Full UK Driving Licence with Transport (essential)
Excellent communication at all levels
Previous experience (desirable)
Ability to pass DBS check
Hold a valid CSCS CardHours of work 8am – 5pm Mon – Friday

Overtime available to suit

The salary for this position is £18,500
