SENDhelp are advertising for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work closely with our partner school supporting children with special needs.
Located in the Aylesbury county this Special needs school provides caters to children between the ages of 11 – 19. With an ethos to provide every child the opportunity to gain qualifications and experience in a wide variety of skills, our partner school focuses on ensuring that their curriculum supports not only the mandatory core subjects, but also on personal and social development. This therefore allows students to master basic skills and work towards a greater sense of independence.
Staff at this school prioritise developing a trusting relationship with students, enabling them to expand their autonomy and to be involved in making decision about their own education. To ensure that this schools can continue providing effective learning experience for each child, they are now looking to expand their workforce.

This role is for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work with children with severe learning needs. The post holder will be working in a secondary school on a ongoing temporary basis starting immediately.
As our new Teaching Assistant, you will:
Have previous experience working with young children with special needs
Be available to start immediately
Have an updated DBS or be willing to pay for one
Be willing to contribute towards the educational and emotional support of children with special needs.
