Helping the business to grow, this is an exciting and rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to get involved from point of initial sales enquiry right through to order stage and handover of the project.

Our client is looking for a commercially aware individual to perform an internal sales function, with a willingness and drive to explore the commercial aspects of the business. You must be able to prioritise, handle many projects under pressure, demonstrate a clear and technical understanding of the products, be motivated, flexible and with a need/want to excel within a small but professional team (full on-the-job training will be provided).

£25K per Annum (plus Commission)

Responsibilities

* Dealing with inbound sales enquiries, understanding customer requirements and logging new enquiries on to the CRM System

* Quoting projects using their quotes and CRM package

* Selecting projects/packages (full training given)

* Producing and issuing quotations, project proposals and designs in a timely manner

* Proactively following up existing leads and new business opportunities

* Working in tandem with other branches and external sales teams etc.

* Developing and maintaining customer relations instil customer confidence

* Maintaining accuracy of the CRM System and effectively handling enquiries to secure new projects

* Providing technical and commercial support to clients

* Attending client meetings and site visits alongside the Business Development Manager when required (or alone)

* Performing administrative and logistical duties on enquiries developed/orders won

Experience Needed

* Computer literate (with strong Excel in particular)

* Tenacity and drive in order to meet/exceed targets

* Excellent telephone manner (to make initial contact after an enquiry and for ongoing communication with customers/internal teams)

* Initiative, with good commercial decision-making skills/project management skills

* Enthusiasm, drive and with a “can do” attitude

* Ability to settle into a small team

* Good people skills and with a technical mindset

* Excellent attention to detail/organisational skills

* Ability to multi-task and prioritise
