I am currently supporting an forward thinking, creative marketing agency in their search for a Business Development Manager.
This sales based role supports a range of consumer facing brands in attracting more customers to their product ranges by delivering innovative campaigns. Within this role you will speak to a range of business leaders, from brand managers to directors, in order to develop relationships & secure new business. This is a B2B role where you will work from a database of leads, making a high volume of outbound calls with the aim of booking appointments, pitching sales packages & closing deals. You will need to be a driven & passionate professional with a proven sales background able to deliver KPIs consistently.
About the role:
Outbound calls
Secure new business appointments
Build & maintain relationships, mainly targeting brand directors
Developing & pitching sales presentations, via video call & in person
Negotiate & close deals with the support of the wider team
Manage & accurately input data into CRM system
Send out targeted marketing activity each monthAbout you:
A proven sales background, preferably in a B2B environment (telesales for example)
Experience in communicating to key stakeholders up to director level
Strong communication, negotiation & networking skills
Strong business acumen & commercial awareness
Ability to manage your time & work to set KPIs
Knowledge of the marketing mixThis is a great opportunity to join a small, innovative team in their mission to support their brand partners in sales acquisition, customer loyalty & retention. Offering an EXCELLENT commission structure: you could expect to earn £40,000 OTE in the first year.
