Senior Digital Marketing Executive
Salary: £40,000
We are looking for a B2B digital marketing professional with a broad mix of marketing skills to join our team.
As our Senior Digital Marketing Executive, you will play a crucial role in building our customer base and implementing effective strategies that will promote the long-term growth of our business.
You will be responsible for planning, owning and executing the digital marketing strategy and reporting on its success.
This is a brand new role to the business, and you will play a pivotal role in defining and shaping the early digital strategy for the company.
Core Responsibilities
* Develop and execute the digital marketing and lead generation strategy for the company, in liaison with the Managing Director
* Initial focus on redesign and optimisation of the website
* Drive high-quality traffic to the website, generating and supporting new business leads by carrying out website management, SEO, PPC and Content management to drive our lead generation activity
* Improve the website user experience
* Plan, build and monitor SEO and PPC activities
* Produce and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience with engaging, valuable, customer-focused content.
* Managing the design and production of promotional materials, such as website, social media, videos, images, graphics, case studies, testimonials and sales documentation
* Work with customers to create case studies/testimonials/videos
* Optimise our marketing automation tools (HubSpot experience preferable)
* Analyse key data, including campaign performance, market research and customer behaviours
* Establish, analyse and measure the success of digital marketing activities by producing regular reports on digital performance and optimise areas for growth or improvement
* Lead on A/B testing activities and create a test and learn environment to achieve the best digital results.
* Improving the customer journey and initial online experience
* Maximise budget, providing advice and support to spend money wisely.
* Collaborate with agencies and other partners
* Brainstorm and develop new ideas
* Staying abreast of digital marketing tools and new trends in technology
* Be a guardian of the brand and voice
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a great, data-driven digital marketer to own the majority of the marketing function for our company.
Essential
– Experience in Digital Marketing, ideally B2B
– A creative mind that generates successful lead generation campaigns
– Solid understanding of digital marketing techniques, with a focus on lead generation activity
– Knowledge of SEO (both technical and content side)
– Knowledge and experience of content strategies and content marketing
– Good understanding of marketing automation tools (HubSpot experience preferable)
– Experience building reports, dashboards and communicating internally
– Website Management knowledge and experience (ideally WordPress and/or Hubspot)
– Ability to design high-quality promotional materials, such as websites, videos, images, graphics, case studies, testimonials and sales documentation.
– Proactive self-starter with self-management skills
– Self-motivated to achieve objectives with high-quality outcomes
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to use data to inform all decisions
– Strong IT skills
– Willingness to roll up sleeves and succeed in an unstructured environment
Desirable:
– Experience using Hubspot / Semrush
– Leadership, management and coaching skills
– Adobe Creative Suite Skills
– Ability to produce high-quality video and image content
