Quality Personnel are recruiting for a number of Test Technicians.
We’re interested in Electrical Test Technician and also Chemical Test Technicians for our client who is a well-established certification body based in Milton Keynes.
Duties:
Supervised Testing
Undertaking testing according to the company H&S rules
Checking the performance and calibration status of the test equipment
Liaising with the Laboratory Manager to make sure that equipment in use meets the required specification
Contributing towards the maintenance and operation of new and existing laboratory facilities, practices and procedures to enable testing work to be carried out in a way that meets clients and accreditation needs
Managing own workload effectively and liaise with other staff members as appropriate to maximise the utilisation of the laboratory resources.
Keeping the Laboratory Manager informed of the progression of test work in the laboratory so they can update clients of any delays, non-compliances, etc.
