Plus cycle to work scheme, study support and moreYour Role at SignatureWorking closely with our Group Head of Customer Experience and the Group Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for creating new menus, before working with all of our Head Chefs when it comes to training, development and rolling out the new dish selections.

With a focus on seasonal ingredients and soft diets, you’ll oversee project management and delivery of supplies and dishes across the group, aligning menus to the respective budgets for each of the homes and ensuring more sustainable food solutions. You’ll have both eyes on the carbon footprint and ‘miles travelled’ for all items served.

You’ll support and mentor all regional Head and Bank Chefs, including live demonstrations and kitchen visits, and use your experience to help with the recruitment of kitchen vacancies. You’ll also deliver IDDSI training and support Chefs in food safety management, legislation and compliance.

Signature PeopleWe’re looking for food fanatics with relevant experience of delivering across multiple sites, taking ownership of supply chain, management and compliance. You’ll have Food Safety Level 3, City & Guilds 706/1 or 762/2 or a current NVQ equivalent. You’ll have worked in healthcare, dealing with the CQC, and you’ll have an understanding of hotel and care industry standards, policies and procedures. Knowledge of all levels of IDDSI is also important.

You’ll be used to supervising and managing, and you’ll be an enthusiastic planner and multi-tasker, displaying plenty of flexibility and adaptability. You’ll be a great rapport builder who communicates well with all walks of life.

You’ll also have excellent local market knowledge and will understand seasonal and sustainable menus.
